Navaya
Puerto Banús · Marbella

The restaurant

Navaya opened in 2026 on Plaza de Benabola, on the seafront at the western edge of Puerto Banús. A dining room, a long terrace over the rocks, a wood-fired oven and a bar.

The setting

Where the marina meets the beach

Plaza de Benabola sits at the western end of Puerto Banús, past the yachts, where the harbour wall gives way to the sea. Navaya occupies the ground floor of the white block facing the water.

The terrace runs the length of the building, a few metres above the rocks. It faces south, so you get sun from late morning and, from most tables, the sun going down over the water with La Concha behind you.

The kitchen

Wood fire, rice, and whatever the boats brought in

The cooking is Mediterranean with a long reach: Andalusian salmorejo and ajoblanco sit next to Peruvian-style octopus carpaccio, kimchi aioli and Korean BBQ ribs. It is not fusion for its own sake — it is a Spanish kitchen that travels well.

Everything that can go through the wood-fired oven does: the Galician tomahawk, the Simmental T-bone, whole sea bass, king prawns, the vegetables. The five rices and paellas are started when you order and take about half an hour.

There is always something off-menu from the market or the fish auction. Ask.

The room

Bright inside, open outside

Inside is calm and light — timber tables, soft seating, a wooden map of the world across one wall, and windows along the whole seafront side. It is the better choice in August, or when the wind comes up.

Outside, the terrace is the reason most people come. Parasols and lamps, white tablecloths in the evening, and the harbour lights once it gets dark.

The team

Hospitality, done properly

Navaya is a young restaurant with a settled team — the same people on the floor, behind the bar and in the kitchen most days of the week. They know the menu, they know the wine list, and they will tell you straight what is good today.
